Seales provides top quality assurance via a Foss NIRS (Near Infrared Spectrometer) machine which tests all finished stockfeed sent from the factory. A certificate of analysis verifying the nutrient profile of the manufactured product is given to the customer with every order.
Seales proudly offer all customers the Seales "Seale of Approval".
What is an NIRS?
NIRS (Near Infrared Spectrometer) is based on the measurement of light transmitted through the sample or light reflected from the sample. The InfraXact uses reflectance technology to measure component analysis. This means a sample is placed inside the analyser and, as the sample is rotated, light is passed through the sample. Different components absorb the light at different levels and the amount of light measured post the sample (refracted light) is measured and an algorithm, or calibration, is applied to determine the result. Analysis takes less than a minute.
Seales Promise
A Seales "Seale of Approval" analysis certificate will be provided to every customer for every order, and for no charge. Analysis will be provided for Protein, ME, NDF, Fibre and Starch. This process provides farmer clients assurance that all Seales finished products are to specification.
Seales prides itself with the reputation to provide top quality product. The Seales "Seales of Approval" retains this status and enhances it further.
